Our COVID-19 Procedures

Here are just some of the COVID-19 precautions and changes we've made in our office:

1) Implemented longer appointment times to avoid waiting room congestion.

2) Office entry is limited to patients and guardians/caretakers only.

3) Patients who prefer to not sit amongst other patients in the reception area may call upon arrival and wait in their car until their treatment room is ready. (We will call you.)

4) Anyone entering the office must take a COVID-19 questionnaire and a temperature screening. This includes our entire staff.

5) Masks are encouraged to be worn upon entry and required for those who not fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

6) Hand sanitizing stations are now located throughout the office, including all operatories and common areas.

7) Additional Personal Protective Equipment for staff includes face shields, disposable gowns, and newly acquired chairside suction equipment to help eliminate aerosol during treatment.

8) We continue to keep a strict adherence to well-established and stringent dental industry protocols for disinfection of surfaces and sterilization of instrumentation protocols between patient appointments. We're using advanced disinfectants that are effective against COVID-19.

9) Ceiling exhaust fans in operatories have been designed to boost air turnover rate and create directional airflow from non-treatment areas into operatories before being exhausted to the outside.

10) New intra-operatory air purification system to improve air quality and reduce transmittable contaminants.
